James McKerrell, Chief Executive Officer

After qualifying in the accounting field and having run a Fund Raising entity, I became interested in technology and joined CRS as a consultant way back in 1991. I was tasked with starting the CRS Cape Town office, and later moved back to Johannesburg as Ops Director, where I took over the management of the business and until today I play an active role in development of our people, products, new markets and solutions. I am passionate about our products and services, not forgetting our people and customers. I have a wonderful and supportive family and enjoy fly fishing (fishing not catching!) in my spare time.

Dave Philp, Operations Director

I was born in Cape Town, but grew up in the Friendly City (Port Elizabeth), where I matriculated from Grey College. After finishing school, I joined the maritime industry, where my exposure went from a sea-going role, to various administration focused positions, finally ending in a role involving the implementation of a system called CRS... I joined the CRS family in 1999 as the Regional Manager for the Cape and became the Director of Operations in 2003. Over the years I have accumulated a B.Com in Business and Quantitave Management, a Diploma in Datametrics with distinction and completed the Advanced Program in Risk Management through Unisa.I enjoy the outdoors and can often be found cycling, waterskiing and scuba diving in my spare time.

Celeste Oelofse, Administration / Financial Manager

I was born and schooled in Cape Town and jump started my career by being transferred with a promotion to Pretoria.I have had an association with CRS since inception and have thoroughly enjoyed the evolution of CRS over the past 25 years.I have extensive working experience and hold a National Diploma in Payroll Management.I proudly hold the position as leader of the “A-Team” – the name our Administration and Financial team carries with honour.
I am passionate about my family and my career.I love various genre of music, interior decorating, ove pottering with bonsai trees and am an avid reader.

Sita Pillay, PA to CEO and Finance Manager

I joined CRS Technologies in April 2010. I have enjoyed a diverse career path ranging from Finance and Insurance to Project Management Administration. Because of my exceptional planning, organizing and administration skills; and my pedantic character traits, I was designated to fulfil the role of Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive office and Finance Manager. In my spare time, if I am not reading a book or cooking up a storm, you are sure to find me experimenting with DIY and testing my skills with express power tools.

Emanuel Mphelo

I am a qualified Bookkeeper to Trial Balance and joined CRS in 2006 after working at FNB as a Call Centre Agent on Temporary Basis. I love working in accounting, as I enjoy interaction with clients and learning new things.

Eva, Office Assistant

I have been with CRS for the last 9 years looking after the internal sustenance needs of the employees and try my best to provide them with a clean environment so as to enhance their working experience. On a more personal note, as a single mother of 3, when I have some free time, I enjoy reading and watching sport such as Rugby and Soccer.
